Flying-Fox Kleinarl
The via ferrata with rope slides through the Kesselfall Gorge in Kleinarl offers you an unforgettable spectacle of nature. Equipment for adults and young people from the age of 10. Via five exciting rope slides and a thrilling rope bridge that crosses two waterfalls, you descend into the valley. You can reach the start of the Flying Fox either via an easy, medium or difficult via ferrata. In a nutshell - there's something here for every level. Get out of your comfort zone - let your adrenaline rush...

Ropes Course Kleinarl
Our Kleinarl high ropes course is idyllically located on the Peilsteinpalfen and offers a magnificent panorama over the entire valley. From the Kletterwelt car park it is about a 15-minute walk along the Kesselfall circular path to the ropes course. The ropes course offers over 50 exercises. Breathtakingly exciting are the purple and black courses, which offer a view down 80 metres.

The Soccerpark Wagrain-Kleinarl is located directly at the "Rote 8er" valley station. In soccergolf, participants try to get a football into a target, making as few shots as possible. The targets vary from holes in the ground or in a wooden wall, nets, or higher targets like a well trough. All ball lovers will get their money's worth here. Who will finish the game first?
Cycling & Mountain Biking in Kleinarl in Salzburger Land
Sporty nature freaks, kids with cool bikes, parents and oldies with their bikes: they all find what they are looking for here in Kleinarl. Thanks to the great variety, no one is short-changed here. No matter with what intention you set off, to build up fitness or to enjoy the landscape. A cosy snack at one of the Salzburg alpine pastures makes the excursion perfect and you can also enjoy the delicious Salzburg delicacies.
Families with small children are best off taking a trip to the Jägersee lake, 4.5 km away. Even the little ones can cycle or e-bike along the stream and there are many exciting places where you can take a break and watch some ducks or horses or visit the playground along the way.
For mountain bikers, the surrounding Salzburg mountains are a paradise. Here you can train your stamina uphill and then reward yourself with a fast downhill ride into the valley. In between, however, you should definitely stop off at one of the numerous alpine huts.

A stop at the Edelweissalm on the Weberlandl sunny plateau in Wagrain-Kleinarl is a treat for the whole family. While children's hearts beat faster at the petting zoo and children's playground, adults enjoy the magnificent view from the sun terrace not far from the middle station of the "Rote 8er".
After a free visit to the farm museum, where you will be amazed at the hard and honest work as well as the traditional handicrafts of times gone by, you can enjoy homemade dishes and mountain hut delicacies in a rustic flair at the Edelweiss-Alm in Wagrain.
Liechtensteinklamm
The natural spectacle in St. Johann/Pg.
The Liechtensteinklamm gorge was reopened in summer 2020 after extensive construction work following a rock fall. Imposing, spectacular and impressive - this is how the Liechtensteinklamm could be described.
The highlight is probably the spiral staircase "Helix". This rises 30 metres into the depths and offers special insights into the natural spectacle of the Liechtensteinklamm.
The Liechtensteinklamm is one of the longest and deepest gorges in the Alps. An unforgettable day for the whole family and breathtaking souvenir pictures are guaranteed.
Eisriesenwelt Werfen - show cave
The largest ice cave in the world
Unique, huge and for many decades one of the most popular sights in SalzburgerLand: dress warmly and embark on a voyage of discovery! Only 40 minutes by car from the holiday paradise of Wagrain-Kleinarl you can reach the Eisriesenwelt in Werfen. From the beginning of May to the end of October you can dive into the mysterious underground world of ice with a guide and gas lanterns.
But be careful: while you may start sweating on the way up to the cave, temperatures in the mystical world of the ice giants are around freezing point even in summer. Sturdy shoes and warm clothing are recommended for a visit to the Eisriesenwelt Werfen.
Hohenwerfen Castle
Dive into the Middle Ages in the Salzach Valley
For the damsel or knight in you - you'll find the 900-year-old Hohenwerfen Adventure Castle in the middle of nature, around 30 minutes from Wagrain-Kleinarl. The former fortified castle towers high above the Salzach Valley and offers all adventurers and culture enthusiasts a special experience.
In addition to a guided tour of the castle including a weapons exhibition and a stylish castle tavern, the historic Landesfalkenhof with daily flight demonstrations of birds of prey is especially worth a visit. Hallein Salt Mine - Dürrnberg
Treasure hunt in the world's oldest visitor mine
Salt used to be called "white gold". And indeed, the deposits in the Hallein salt mine, which were formed millions of years ago, are the treasure trove of the Salzburg region. As early as 2,500 years ago, the Celts mined this precious gift from the mountain, as the impressive traces they left behind prove.
Go on a treasure hunt in SalzburgerLand in the world's oldest visitor mine and follow the mysterious, ancient tunnels for kilometres into the mystical mountain during the 70-minute guided tours. Sturdy shoes and warm clothing are recommended.
Grossglockner High Alpine Road
